Kang Ding is a small in the mountains of Sichuan and the gate to the Tibetian area in China. The so called Sichuan-Tibet highway, which was basically a trail when I traveled in this area, connects this city to many fantastic places surrounded by mountains and nature. It goes all the way to Lhasa and Kathmando.
